Building the Next Generation of Leaders in Education Justice
EdAllies offers programs that help community members at every level build the skills, knowledge, and confidence to speak up on the issues that matter for students—and to find their power when it comes to education.
Our current programs include:
- – Community Allies: We offer free, customizable workshops and advocacy trainings to give community members the knowledge and tools they need to become effective advocates for the issues that matter to them. Our workshops can happen as part of a classroom curriculum, during afterschool programs or assemblies, or at community meetings and events.
- – EdVoices: This program elevates community voice, with training on effective storytelling and a platform for community members to share their perspective.
- – For the Love of Reading: This free book club for kids connects students to literacy, and gives the opportunity for young students to begin exploring advocacy.
Whether your school group or organization wants to learn the basics of advocacy, dig into key education issues at the Capitol, or sharpen your story to make an impact, we’ll tailor our programming to your needs. We partner with community groups, advocacy organizations, and other stakeholders to design the right content and approach for each audience.
