Meredith Samuelson
Meredith Samuelson (Operations Manager) works behind the scenes at EdAllies to ensure the team has the capacity to do their best work for Minnesota students. Meredith has focused her career on supporting parents of young children so those families can thrive. She started as a MN Reading Corps Pre-K Literacy tutor in Saint Paul Public Schools and noticed just how much stress at home impacted our youngest learners. She then spent 5 years as a Parent Educator teaching in Early Childhood Family Education programs in Saint Paul Public Schools and the North Saint Paul - Maplewood - Oakdale school district. Her time working directly with families has made her passionate about equitable access to high quality early childhood programming and equitable support for all families to fully participate in their child’s education. Meredith has a master’s degree in Education: Family and Parent Education from the University of MN - Twin Cities and a bachelor’s degree in American Studies from St. Olaf College. She lives in St. Paul with her husband Carl, their three kids, and their goofy pup Luna. When she’s not working, she can be found singing with the National Lutheran Choir, baking cinnamon rolls, or inhaling a book.
