Editorial: Frustration, not resignation, over school scores

There’s frustration — but no sign of resignation — in the face of test scores reported last week that show St. Paul students falling further behind their peers statewide.

Conversations with district and other education leaders provide perspective and shed some light on the path forward. Failure isn’t an option in a city and state where continued economic vitality depends on preparing every student for a workforce that will need them.
